Greetings! This is the first snack I’ve prepared for tea time. It’s a simple, local take on bruschetta, called Bagel Chip Bruschetta. It goes really well with an iced sweet tea, such as Lipton black tea. You could also try it with an iced passion tea. I use “Everything” bagel chips to give the snack extra flavor.

INGREDIENTS:

- 2 Cloves of garlic

- 2 Tbsp of butter

- Half of a tomato

- 1/3 Cup of balsamic glaze

- Salt

- Bagel chips

-Parmesan cheese

  1. Mince your garlic and cook it in the butter on medium heat, stirring until the butter is golden.

  2. While your butter cools down, dice up your tomato, and then mix it with the balsamic glaze.

  3. Add the butter and garlic into the mixture, and salt to taste. Let it chill in the fridge.

  4. Once your mixture is cold, you can scoop it onto the bagel chips and top it with parmesan cheese.

I hope you love your bruschetta! This should serve 2-4 people. You can also spice it up with different seasonings and flavors of bagel chips, so that it’s a totally customized version. In the coming weeks, I hope to get out more yummy snack recipes for you. See you next time!
